As most practitioners are aware, the IRS is currently embattled in legal proceedings regarding the Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) status.  PTI is currently registered as an approved IRS Continuing Education Provider, and our two day, 16-hour seminar provides two full hours of Circular 230 ethics, three or more hours of Federal Tax Law Updates, with the remaining hours all concentrating on other Federal Tax Law issues.  This meets all current IRS RTRP requirements.  Since these rules could change quickly, we encourage you to bring your PTIN number to the conference to help ensure future reporting.
