The North Carolina Society of Accountants will present its Spring Professional Accounting Seminar (PAS) on June 19 and 20, 2013, at the Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club, One Thousand Five Midland Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387

 

As a nationally recognized speaker and author on federal taxation and accounting, John Ayers, CPA draws on his experience as a businessman and accountant to provide practical solutions to problems confronting the tax and accounting practition-er. Since 1985, John has managed his own accounting firm whose clients are concentrated in the area of corporate and partnership taxation. This area of concentration includes tax advisement and return preparation for both business clients and their owners. In addition, John in also vice-president of a mechanical contracting company. John takes an active role in the management of this company, thus giving him insight into the daily management, financial, and tax problems that are encountered by businesses.

 

Having served as an assistant professor of accounting for more than two decades, John recognized the need for a clear, concise presentation of complex tax law, regulations, and accounting principles.

 

Beginning his fourteenth year as a speaker for the National Center for Professional Education, John has developed, in more that five hundred seminar presentations in thirty-seven states, a presentation style that is both informative and thought provoking bringing to the discussion practical solutions to complex tax and accounting issues.
